So my goal in life is to be a famous multi-millionaire author. JK Rowling-type millionaire. Yep. Big dreams.

I started writing my debut novel (which will top the lists at number one when it's out, let me tell you) a year or two back, but I put it on the shelf when I started University, but I never worked on it much in the first place because mostly I was never sure what was going to happen next in the bridge content of getting from Point A to Point B.

But I've decided I need to get serious about it, so I opened my files and read through all my randomly jotted ideas and the chapters I had already written, and it's not as ill thought out as I remembered. I actually have a fair amount planned. Yes, there are some GAPING HUGE plot points missing, so I read through what I'd already done and touched it up a bit and got rid of things I now realise were just useless. Before I do any more I'm going to have to go through and fill in the plot holes and be a bit more detailed in the story outline. Not looking forward to it. I asked =Toxxic-Vixen why I couldn't just KNOW. And then answered my own question with, "Because then anyone could be an author/playwright/screenwriter, Megan. That's why." Needless to say she wasn't very amused with my antics.

Depending on how things go, I may post a chapter or two for you to read.

In other news, I start my job this Thursday. Yay, money! My throat hurts from singing Taylor Swift really loudly in my car today when I went to pick up my little brother and sister from camp. And I don't think the salt water I accidentally swallowed in my pool helped either... Hopefully it feels better by Thursday. I have to boss little children around, and I need my voice for that.

I've been reading a lot this summer. I've read some Kathy Reichs (the lady behind Temperance Brennan, if you don't know who that it GTFO and go watch some Bones) and one of the new Jodi Picoult's. Also, I started the House of Night series. I've finished up to the third one but I'm trying to pace myself because the fifth is only in hardcover right now and I want it in paperback to match the others *HUGE DORK*.

I've got a few pictures in the works right now, but between reading, figuring out writing, actually writing, eating, sleeping, taxi-ing young children around, and working, don't expect them too soon. Yes, eating and sleeping come before my family and my job. I'll try to get a WIP up at the very least soon.
