1.) Describe your character's relationship with their mother or their father, or both. Was it good? Bad? Were they spoiled rotten, ignored? Do they still get along now, or no?
_{Elodie has always had a very good relationship with both of her parents. Much like how she has a driving need for people to like her, she also strives to not disappoint her parents. She does what she can to be a good daughter to them (with the occasional slip-up of course-- when you're going 50 miles a minute, who can remember to do everything?) and she enjoys spending time with them. She's not regularly spoiled, but on special occasions like birthdays and Christmas, her parents do try their best to get her the things she's been asking for and she's always appreciative of that.}

2.) What are your characters most prominent physical features?
_{Most of El's friends comment on her hair (which I do admit I'm very jealous of), but I've always loved her smile. She's a naturally very happy person, and it can be a little tiring and extremely repetitive to be constantly describing her in the roleplays as smiling/grinning/laughing/chuckling/giggling, but I can't help it-- it's who she is. Perhaps I should use a thesaurus to mix it up a little more?}

3.) Name one scar your character has, and tell us where it came from. If they don't have any, is there a reason?
_{She doesn't have any really prominent scars at the moment, but she does have a few small ones in various places on her body just from some rough and tumble stuff as a kid. Bashing into a side table when she's 17 leaves a permanent dent in her right shin. There may or may not have been a very loud profanity heard throughout the Hufflepuff dormitories.}

4.) How vain is your character? Do they find themselves attractive?
_{Elodie likes to make sure she looks pretty when she's out, but that's about as far as her vanity extends. She's actually fairly modest about things but secretly adores compliments and tries accept them gracefully. She's not the kind of person who'll absolutely refute it if you try to tell her that her hair looks particularly lovely that day.}

5.) What's your character's ranking on the Kinsey Scale?
_{She's almost certainly a 0. Possibly a 0.5 if you want to count the time when she's 18 and she kisses a girl because she's incredibly drunk. But it isn't entirely her fault, the boys at the bar neglected to tell her just how strong Firewhiskey is and the girl was just trying to help her home. Elodie just wanted to express her thanks for how lovely she was being, and you all know how affectionate Elodie is-- and that's just when she's sober.}

6.) Describe your character's happiest memory.
_{Elodie has an abundance of things she considers her 'happiest memories'. This is one of the reasons conjuring her patronus is so difficult for her; she can't seem to focus on just one. The memories fall into two main categories: family and friends. When it comes to her family, one of her top memories usually involves their annual apple picking trips. Walking through the rows of trees, eating more apples than actually picking (oops, don't tell the owners of the orchard), and climbing trees (probably shouldn't tell them that either). With her friends, her memories usually include her best friend Gavin and her doing any number of things-- something as simple as just hanging out and doing nothing in particular, or skating on the pond with him and Taylor. The one time she managed a full-bodied patronus she was with her boyfriend, Evan, and he smelled so yummy it made her happy just thinking about him. What a dork.}

7.) Is there one event or happening your character would like to erase from their past? Why?
_{Elodie has had a rather easy life thus far-- no traumatizing events she wishes she could erase. That being said, she would not mind in the least if she could go back and stop her 6-year-old self from proclaiming (very loudly) her undying love to Jeremy Liberman. He wasn't exactly impressed and called her 'an ugly troll'. She also wishes she could forget (or at least that everyone else would) what she refers to as 'that First Year incident'. She tripped (again, very loudly; embarrassment doesn't seem to be a quiet affair for her) in the Great Hall and managed to take a whole benchful of Hufflepuffs down with her.}

8.) Day of Favorites! What's your character's favorite ice cream flavor? Color? Song? Flower?
_{Her favourite ice cream flavour, though it's technically a frozen yogurt, is definitely Funky Monkey: strawberry and banana with chocolate chunks. Her favourite colour is a deep wine purple, but she loves to wear any shade of it and owns quite a few purple shirts. Elodie is from a few decades in the future, so I can't say for sure what her favourite song would be, but if she were from our time, she'd be head-over-heels for anything really young, girlie, and fun-- Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez. Her favourite flowers are white orchids because they smell lovely, and gerber daisies because they're so colourful and happy.}

9.)  Who does your character trust?
_{El has a philosophy to trust everyone until they give her a reason not to. It's good in theory, but I'm sure that one day this will come around to bite her in the ass. Now, she's not an idiot who's going to get into the windowless van because someone offers her candy, but she does like to believe the best in people and doesn't like to assume that they have ulterior motives for the way they treat her. In terms of trusting and depending on people, she does have several close friends she knows she can really turn to if she needs to.}

10.) Can you define a turning point in your character's life? Multiples are acceptable.
_{Obviously, getting her Hogwarts letter was quite the turning point in her life. Her parents are both wizards, so it was always assumed that it would happen, but it was exciting none-the-less. After that, the start of her third year really marked a change in Elodie. She became a lot more social, forcing herself out of her comfort zone in order to meet people. She meets some of her best friends this way and it never would have happened if she had remained satisfied with her quiet, diligent life. Another point would be her first trip. She travels to America to visit some of the Americans that visited Hogwarts and doing this sparks a beginning to a couple things. First, is her love and need to keep traveling. She does this by becoming a Travel Journalist for the Prophet. Another thing to happen on this trip is the formation of her relationship with her boyfriend/husband, Nick.}

11.) Is there an animal you equate with your character?
_{Yorkshire terriers. They're El's patronus ( [link] ), and for good reason. They're very affectionate dogs, and very excitable. They're also about the least threatening things ever, even when they're trying to appear intimidating. As an added bonus, they also have that lustrous hair thing going on.}

12.) How is your character with technology? Super savvy, or way behind the times? Letters or email?
_{Elodie works fine with technology. She doesn't know code or how to fix something if it doesn't work, but she can find her away around a variety of things. Both of her parents are wizards, but they have made an effort to keep up with muggle advances. Elodie can use a variety of computer programs and knows how to work her television and what not, however, she is a disaster with most video games. While at Hogwarts she does send lots of letters by owl, but she uses email more frequently while at home. The exception to this are her American penpals whom she sends mail by the muggle post because of the distance and she thinks hand letters are more personal.}

13.) What does your character's bed look like when he/she wakes up? Are the covers off on one side of the bed, are they all curled around a pillow, sprawled everywhere? In what position might they sleep?
_{El sleeps on her side curled up in a ball, completely bundled up under her blankets right up to her chin. She might roll over a couple times during the night, but everything pretty much stays in place. On the really hot nights, she's pretty much the opposite-- completely sprawled out on her back on top of all the blankets.}

14.)  How does your character react to temperature changes such as extreme heat and cold?
_{To Elodie, extreme heat is very uncomfortable, but it also makes a wonderful day to splash around in the shaded part of the Lake. Extreme cold is the more bearable of the options though; she'll stay inside next to the fire where it's warm. She thinks it is far easier to warm up from the cold than it is to cool down from the heat. She does enjoy both seasons immensely, but these extreme days she finds to be rather off-putting.}

15.) Is your character an early morning bird or a night owl?
_{Technically a night owl, but not because she wants to be. She usually goes to bed later than she'd like because she's been practicing a spell or working on an assignment. Getting out of bed in the morning is hard for her, but usually by the time she's showered and had breakfast she's ready for the day. On weekends she does like to sleep in though.}

16.) Are there any blood relatives that your character is particularly close with, besides the immediate ones? Cousins, Uncles, Grandfathers, Aunts, et cetera. Are there any others that your character practically considers a blood relative?
_{Elodie is close with her cousin, Bianca ( [link] ). There's a 14-year gap between them so when El and her sister were younger, Bianca would come visit and take them out to do things. Bianca has since moved away so her visits aren't as frequent, but she does pop by occasionally around the winter and summer holidays and they'll all go to the movies or the mall.}

17.) What's your character's desk/workspace look like? Are they neat or messy?
_{It's a little bit of organized chaos. Elodie has papers sorted by class, but they're mostly all stacked out in the open. When she sets up at a table in the common room, she really spreads out, having everything she needs accessible and viewable. She pretty much knows where everything is at all times, but occasionally something does get misplaced in her system, at which point she cleans it thoroughly and puts things away properly. But this only lasts about a week before it goes back to how it was.}

18.) Is your character a good cook? What's their favorite recipe, whether they're good or not? (Microwave mac-and-cheese applies.)
_{Elodie's more of a baker than a cook. She really enjoys making desserts, but she can only do it if she has a recipe. She can make cookies, simple cakes, and of course, muffins. She managed to coerce the exact Hogwarts recipe out of the house elves in the kitchen by means of flattery and sweetness, but they just don't have that special something to them.}

19.) What's your character's preferred means of travel?
_{In the future, El does lots of traveling, but she's always been nervous about apparating, so she tends to use muggle transportation. She loves planes for overseas trips, but for ground travel, nothing beats a train. It reminds her of taking the Hogwarts Express each year and makes her nostalgic. She also loves being able to watch the scenery go by.}

20.) Does your character have any irrational fears?
_{When she was younger, one of her friends told her that it was safer to sleep with your bedroom door closed in case of a fire, and since then she absolutely cannot sleep if her door is open for fear of fire or an intruder (not that a door is really going to keep someone out). While she's at Hogwarts, she has to keep her bed curtains closed (nevermind the fact that these are even less effective than a door...).}

_{A muffin. No question about it.}
